The Clix Miniature camera was sold by the General Products company of Chicago Illinois, in circa 1940. It was a simple candid type camera constructed of black bakelite, with a decorative faceplate. It was fitted with a simple meniscus lens and instantaneous shutter. This is part of the similar cameras emanating from the Chicago camera group. The Metropolitan Industries company also made a miniature camera called the CLIX with the exact same face plate type style but different company name and detail on the body.
