The Champion camera was marketed by "The Camera Man" company of Chicago Illinois in circa 1940. The camera was constructed of black plastic Bakelite with a decorative metal face plate and a built-in eye-level view finder . It featured a fixed focus meniscus lens. This camera design was part of the Chicago Common Style of cameras. The shutter provided snap shot and time exposures. This camera was capable of producing sixteen photos 3 x 4 cm in size on no. 127 or A8 roll film. The exact same camera was sold by The camera Man labeled as the President. In addition the same camera was sold as the Drexel Jr. Miniature, and the Leecrest by Lee Industries.
