The Cinex Candid Camera was marketed by the Craftsman Sales Co. of Chicago, Illinois in circa 1940. The Marbleized version was a special plastic bakelite material. This camera was a typical Chicago Group style camera and similar to the standard craftsman Candid camera and the Monarck camera. The Cinex mini-cam camera featured a built-in view finder and a metal faceplate indicating the camera name in bold lettering. The camera was capable of capturing full or half frames on no. 828 roll film.
