  Ruby Horizontal Reflex

The Ruby Horizontal Reflex Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1923. The camera was constructed of mahogany throughout, covered in fine seal-grained leather with all metal fittings black enameled. The self erecting focusing hood was made of stiffened leather attached to a black polished hinged metal frame. It featured a self capping time and instantaneous focal plane shutter, without autostop. this camera took 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on plates for roll film. Original prices for the camera varied by selected lens and ranged from £8 15s 0d to £18 10s 0d.
