The Ruby F2 Speed Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard Manufacturing Company in circa 1925. The camera was constructed with a solid metal body. It was capable of capturing 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 exposures on a ridgid plate. The camera was fitted with a Ruby self capping time and instantaneous, Ruby focal plane shutter with auto stop and universal shutter adjustment. The focal plane shutter was capable of achieving exposure speeds from 1/10 to to 1/1000 of a second. It was fitted with a Hobson Cooke super speed F2 anastigmat lens.
