  Ruby Roll Film Vest Pocket Deluxe Camera

The Ruby Roll Film Vest Pocket Camera was manufactured by the Thornton-Pickard company in circa 1926. It was a miniature roll film camera that featured all the equipment and perfection of the larger models. It was capable of capturing exposures 2 1/2 inch by 1 5/8 inch. It was constructed entirely of metal with a leather bellows and covered in seal grained leather, with nickel plated automatic spring stretcher arms, winder and catches. It was fitted with a Ruby Anastigmat f7.7, a Ruby Anastigmat f6.3 in a self-setting shutter providing time, bulb and instantaneous exposures if 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100th of a second or a Ruby Anastigmat f4.5 in a compur shutter with speeds up to 1/300th of a second. A brilliant hinged view finder as also included. It was priced from £3 10s to £9 9s.
