  Centrix Camera

The Centrix camera was sold by the Marion & Co. of Soho Square London in circa 1911. This was a small hand - stand folding camera that featured a double extension bellows that extended to the rear of the camera with a scissor hinge. This mechanism allowed for rapid change from single to double extension while maintaining camera balance. The extension allowed for a distance of ten inches from the lens to the plate. It was made with a rigid U shaped front, rising and cross movements, a compound shutter, reversible brilliant view finder, level, and infinity catch. It was priced at £5 10s. The camera with an optional upgraded Kiolos lens was also available for £7 10s.
