The Simplex camera was invented by Dr. Krugener of Bockheim Germany and sold by the Marion & Co. of Soho Square London in circa 1893. There were at least two models. It was designed with a unique magazine mechanism that was capable of processing fifty cut films. The camera was made of polished mahogany wood and fitted with a fixed focus lens, time and instantaneous shutter, focusing details, and two finders.
