  Square Bellows Field Camera

The Square Bellows Field Camera was sold by the Marion & Company of Soho Square, London in circa 1895. Described as being invaluable to architectural photographers and others. The camera featured Cole's patent flexible rising and falling front (patent no. 5374, march 14th 1894). With this novel front, the lens could be raised, lowered or moved horizontally to any position of the plate desired. It was made in many sizes including, quarter plate, half-plate, whole plate, 10 x 8 inch, 12 x 10 inch, and 15 x 12 inch. Prices ranged from £8 9s to £27.
