  Star Roll Film Camera by Marion & Co.

The Star Roll Film Camera was manufactured by the Marion & Co. of Soho Square London in circa 1904. This folding camera was capable of capturing quarter plate exposures, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch, on standard roll film. It was covered in morocco leather and fitted with a rapid rectilinear lens mounted in a Baush and Lomb "Unicum" shutter. Features included a rising, falling and cross swing front, a reversible brilliant finder, a ground glass focusing screen with a collapsible shade hood, an adapter to convert the camera for dry plates, and three metal plate holders. The Star Roll Film Camera was priced at 63 Shillings.
