The Swallow Quarter Plate camera was manufactured by the Marion & Co. of Soho Square London in circa 1898. Several variations of the Swallow camera were made. The camera was constructed of a wood body with black morocco leatherette covering. It featured two view finders, an automatic exposure indicator, and had a handle on top of the camera. It was capable of holding twelve plates, 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch. The Swallow Quarter Plate camera was priced at 30 shillings in 1898.
