The Krystos Camera was manufactured by Reynolds & Branson of Leeds in circa 1900. It was designed as a portable field camera of best quality. It featured an improved rigid rising front (patent applied) for which the standard contained no top crossbar so that the lens board can be extended upward with out impediment. The front was reinforced with an easy to recognize metal "V" shaped support structure. the camera featured a double extension bellows and was constructed of mahogany. This camera sold for £5 complete with three double dark slides, but no lens.
