The Makina 670 was manufactured by Plaubel in circa 1985, under management of the Japanese company named Doi group and was manufactured by Mamiya. The Makina 670 is very similar to its predecessor Makina 67 with only minor changes to housing adding a ribbed finish and also, besides being able of capturing ten 6x7 cm exposures on no. 120 roll film it could also accept no. 220 rollfilm for twenty exposures. Like the 67 it was a strut folding camera featuring a coupled rangefinder, integrated metering and a Nikkor 80/2.8 lens.
