The Makina III was manufactured by the Plaubel company of of Frankfurt Germany from 1949 to 1953. This chrome faced camera was fitted with a built-in compur shutter providing speeds from 1 to 1/200th of a second and a 10cm AntiComar 100mm f/2.9 lens in a speed change mount coupled to a built-in coincidence type range finder. Optional lenses included a telephoto 19cm Tele Makinar f4.8 lens or a wide angle 7.3cm Orthar f6.8 lens.
