The Makinette was manufactured by the Plaubel company of of Frankfurt Germany in circa 1931. This vest pocket camera constructed of metal with leather covers.The Makinette was capable of capturing sixteen 3 x 4 cm images on standard no. 127 vest pocket roll film. It was fitted with a built-in compur shutter providing speeds up to 1/300th of a second and a fast anticomar f2.7 lens. I featured three adjustment scales, focus, diaphragm and depth of focus and a self erecting direct view finder. The Makinette sold for approximately $70.00.
