  Colonel Camera by National Instrument Corp.

The Colonel Camera was manufactured by the National Instrument Corporation in circa 1947. Designed as a simple box camera constructed of pressed aluminum. It was capable of capturing 6 x 6 cm exposures on standard no. 620 roll-film. It featured a 85mm fixed-focus meniscus lens, a time and instantaneous shutter, a retractable sports type direct wire frame finder, and factory pre-set synchronized flash. The Colonel camera was originally priced at $7.95, including flash unit.
