The Soho Laltrex Camera was manufactured by the Soho Ltd. company in circa 1930. A folding roll-film camera capable of capturing 5 1/2 x 3 1/4 inch "postcard" sized images. Similar to the Altrex, Celtrex, and Feltrex except in postcard size. Teh body was constructed of wood and aluminum, covered with real leather. The film are held in spindles instead of the swing out cradles found in the smaller sizes. Features included a focusing scale, and a reversible view finder. It was sold with multiple shutter / lens choices combinations. The basic version was fitted with a shutter capable of providing 1/25, 1/50 or 1/100, and time with either a Single Achromatic or Kershaw Annar f8 lens. An upgraded option consisted of a shutter capable of providing 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50or 1/100 with a Kershaw Anastigmat. The Soho Laltrex was priced at £5 0s 0d to £8 0s 0d.
