The Soho No. 5 camera was manufactured in circa 1935 by Kershaw and sold by Soho Ltd. of London England. Designed as a triple extension camera with a universal front. The camera was made of selected mahogany, solidly built and beautifully polished with lacquered brass fittings. It was made with best quality leather bellows with truncated corners. It featured double rack and pinion movement providing long extension, rising and swing front, reversing and double swing back, built-in solid brass turn-table, and reversible frame and a Thorton-Pickard time and instantaneous shutter with speed indicator and pneumatic release. The Soho No. 5 camera was made in three sizes including a 6 1/2 x 4 3/4 inch, a whole plate, 12 x 10 inch. Prices varied according to lens selection and camera size.
