  Soho Precision Camera


The Soho Precision Camera was manufactured in circa 1936 by the Kershaw Mfg. co and sold through the Soho Ltd. company of London, England. A high quality camera featuring a triple extension bellows and fitted with every essential movement. The camera was capable of capturing 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch sized images on plates or film pack adapters. The camera was manufactured from hardened metal impervious to tropical or other extreme climates. It is covered in real morocco leather. A single rack and pinion movement adjusts the triple extension front to a length of up to 11 1/4 inches. Features included a revolving back, a direct vision view finder, spirit levels, and tripod socket. Two compur shutter options were available providing speeds up to either 1/200 or 1/250 of a second. Also, various lenses were avaialbe from Ross, Dallmeyer or Cooke. Original prices ranged from £13 10s to £24 11s.
