The Invincible camera was manufactured by W. A. C. Smith, Photographic Instrument maker of Glasgow in circa 1898. Advertised as a high class instrument at ta moderate price. I featured a magazine plate changing mechanism that would hold twelve plates. The camera featured hard grain leather covering, an improved focusing arrangement with a graduated scale showing at what distance objects are in focus, a superior rapid meniscus lens specially ground for this camera, a time and instantaneous shutter with variable speed from 1/10th to 1/40th of a second, and two brilliant finders. Originally priced at 42 shillings.
