The Rectaflex company was established in 1947 by inventor Telemaco Corsi in Rome, Italy. The rectaflex was the worlds first single lens reflex camera to use a penta prism. Several variations to the same design were manufactured over the years. The company lasted only a short time and ceased operations in 1955.
