The Tourist Camera was manufactured by John Piggott & Co. of London, England in circa 1900. This camera was specially designed for traveling amatuer photographers who require a camera for outdoor use, and which can also be used indoors. It was constructed of mahogany with a leather bellows. The camera featured a rising front, reversing frame, double extension bellows, and rack and pinion focusing adjustment. It came fitted with a rapid rectilinear lens with an iris diaphragm. The J.P. Tourist Camera was priced at 31 shillings.
