The J.P. Folding Cyclist Roll Film Camera was manufactured by John Piggott & Co. in circa 1904. This was the era where Piggott was heavily promoting cycling and motor car clothes, so this was a natural link to the camera department of Piggotts'. This folding quarter plate size camera was constructed of mahogany and covered in leather. It featured an achromatic lens with stops and a time and instantaneous shutter. The J.P. Folding Cyclist Roll Film Camera was priced at 19/6. There was an upgraded model also available that featured a rapid rectilinear lens, Unicum shutter and adaptable to plates and roll film for 40/-.
