The Merlin camera was manufactured by United Optical Instruments, of Southend-on-Sea, Great Britain in circa 1936. It was a cast metal sub-miniature camera capable of capturing 20 x 20mm exposures. It was made in several colors with a crackle-finish including, black, green, blue and red.
