The Vokar Model A camera was manufactured by the Electronics Products Manufacturing Corporation, later to become the Vokar Corporation in circa 1940. It was advertised as the only camera with "Variocoupled Light Control", which automatically corrects exposure by self adjustment of the diaphragm in relation to shutter speeds for varying light conditions. The camera was constructed of Bakelite and metal finished in chrome. It took eight exposures, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch in size on standard no. 120 roll film. It was fitted with a 75mm Vokar triple anastigmat f6.3 lens focusing from 3 1/2 feet to infinity and working with a geared type shutter providing speeds from 1/25 to 1/100th of a second and bulb. The Vokar Model A camera was originally priced at $15.00 and an optional Eveready case was $5.00 extra.
