It featured a single meniscus lens, reversible view finder, and 2-speed (time and instantaneous) shutter. A popular all-distance camera known for its versatility - portraiture, landscapes, seascapes, and snapshots - it could use any type of 120 roll film (3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch). The body was constructed of reddish-brown bakelite with maroon leather bellows. Pricing for the Soho Cadet started at £25.
