  Soho Celtrex

The Soho Celtrex was manufactured by the Soho Ltd. Company in circa 1931. Part of the Soho Folding Roll Film Camera series, the Celtrex was for 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch pictures. The camera size was 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches. No. 241 and 241a had a shutter capability of 1/25, 1/50 or 1/100, and time with either a Single Chromatic Lens (241) or a Kershaw Annar f/8 (241a) lens. No. 241c was fitted with a shutter capable of 1/5, 1/10/ 1/25, 1/50, or 1/100, and time with a Kershaw Anastigmat f/6.3 lens. With a sturdy metal composition and leather covering, this durable camera features attached spool chambers with a spring film plate in the back, a focusing scale, and reversible viewfinder. The Soho Celtrex was priced at £2.
