The Mycro II subminiature camera was manufactured by Akita Seisakusho an distributed by the Sanwa Co. Ltd. in circa 1951. The Mycro II was a version made with a high quality Anastigmat f4.5 lens. It body style was similar to the Mycro IIIA subminiature camera. Like the other Mycro camera the Mycro II took ten 14 x 14mm exposures (9/16 x 9/16 inch) on 17.5mm unperforated roll film.
The camera was constructed of pressed metal covered with leather, similar to earlier versions, but with a modified view finder housing. It was fitted with an Una shutter was capable of speeds from 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 per second, including bulb as selected by an level at the top. The Mycro II subminiature camera came in blue, green and red leather.
