The Barts wood view camera was manufactured by Evans, Sons and Company of Liverpool, England in circa 1900. Designed as a classic British style field camera, the Barts was targeted for wholesale to Pharmacies in England, Canada and the United States. The camera was constructed of selected seasoned mahogany, covered in leather with the inside and extension highly polished. The metal work was lacquered and polished brass fittings. It featured a triple extension bellows.
