The Hanover No. 2 camera was manufactured by Evans, Sons and Company of Liverpool, England in circa 1900. The camera was made of well seasoned mahogany, highly finished in every detail with lacquered brass fittings. It was fitted with varnished red leather bellows, swing back, swing front, reversing back, sewn leather handle, plumb indicator, and automatic spring to hold dark slide in position. The camera front slides along brass runners. The camera back could be moved up to the front for wide angle lenses. It was fitted with a rapid rectilinear with iris diaphragm working at F8. The outfit included a three fold tripod, three double light tight dark slides and a water proof carrying case bound with leather. The thickness of the camera when closed is less than two inches. The camera came in two sizes. A half plate outfit priced at £6 15s and a whole plate priced at £9 10s.
