The Focal Primar camera was manufacture by E. Suter in circa 1903. Described as an ideal sport camera because it was light, handy and reliable. Wood construction covered in fine cowhide leather, leather bellows with front swing and rising adjustments. Featured a built-in focal plane shutter capable of providing speeds up to 1/1000 of a second. Avialble in a variety of lenses including a Suter Doppel-Anastigmat Series I F6.8, a Suter Doppel-Anastigmat Series III F5, Suter Doppel-Plasmat f5.5 and a Suter Doppel-Plasmat f4. It was made in three sizes. A 9x12, 10x15 and a 13x18. It was capable of accepting either glass plates or film packs.
