Suter Klapp-Camera

The Suter "Klapp-Camera" was manufactured Mentor for Optische Anstalt E. Suter of Basel, Switzerland in circa 1900.
Designed as a Strut-folding plate camera with a high speed focal plane shutter, that was capable of exposure speeds from 1/2 second to up to 1/1000 of a second. It was fitted with Suter Anastigmat Series lenses. The Suter Klapp-Camera was made in four sizes, 9 x 12 cm, 13 x18 cm, 6 x 13 cm and 9 x 18 cm.
