The Liliput was manufactured by Optische Anstalt E. Suter of Basel, Switzerland in circa 1941. This small box camera was made of metal with a painted in crackle-finish. It came in five colors, black, green, red, gray and blue. The camera was capable of capturing sixteen 3 x 4 cm pictures on standard no. 127 roll film. It was similar to the Swiss-Box camera but with an improved shutter release on the top. It featured a fix focus meniscus lens and an instantaneous shutter.
