The Reise-Camera was manufactured by E. Suter of Basel, Switzerland in circa 1905. This camera is designed with a square frame construction and square bellows with leather corners. It is made with select mahogany, highly polished with polished brass fittings. The focusing screen frame is adjustable for portrait and landscape shots. The lens board is adjustable in both horizontal and vertical directions. The camera features a double oblique rack and pinion gearing for fine focus adjustment. The two smaller sided models can be used for Stereoscopic work. The Reise camera was made in three sizes including a 13 x 18 cm camera with bellows adjustable to 46cm, a 18 x 24 cm camera with adjustable bellows to 58cm and a 24 x 30cm camera with adjustable bellows up to 75cm. When sold an extra lens board and three solid polished mahogany double cassette were included with the camera.
