  Suter Reporter Camera

The Reporter camera was manufactured by E. Suter of Basel, Switzerland in circa 1905. This camera was designed for advanced stage amateur and sports photographers. The camera housing was made of wood and covered with fine leather. The bellows were made of leather. The metal parts were oxidized or nickel-plated. The removable lens board could be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical directions. It featured a super fast built-in focal plane shutter adjustable up to 1/2000 of a second. The camera was also be supplied with longer focal lengths on special request.
