  Suter Sirius Camera

The Suter Sirius Camera was manufactured by E. Suter of Basel Switzerland in circa 1905. A folding roll film pocket camera with soldi construction. The camera housing is made of wood and covered with fine leather. The bellows are made of Leather. The front standard is made of metal and shaped in u-form for stability. The cameras baseboard is also made of metal with nickel plated rails. The camera featured a retractable brilliant viewfinder, an adjustable Lens housing in both vertical and horizontal directions and a double extension bellows which are set to infinity when initially pulled out. It was fitted with a Compur shutter capable of speeds up to 1/250 second and a Suter Double Anastigmat Series I f6.8 lens.
