A Half Plate camera was manufactured by the Albion Albumenising Company in circa 1886. It was also referred to as a tourist field camera. The camera was made of mahogany with brass fittings and a red leather bellows. Advertised as "exceedingly complete and a very good value". It featured a built-in tripod turntable, roller blind shutter providing time and instantaneous exposures with a speed indicator and rear body focusing moved by rack and pinion.. The front provided both swing and rising-falling movements. The camera allowed double extension by gearless pull-out front.
