A Half Plate camera was manufactured by the Albion Albumenising Company in circa 1886. It was also referred to as a tourist field camera. The camera was made of mahogany with brass fittings and a red leather bellows. Advertised as "exceedingly complete and a very good value". It featured a built-in tripod turntable, roller blind shutter providing time and instantaneous exposures with a speed indicator and rear body focusing moved by rack and pinion.. The front provided both swing and rising-falling movements. The camera allowed double extension by gearless pull-out front.
The Albion Studio camera was manufactured by the Albion Albumenising Company in circa 1885. The camera was made of mahogany, beautifully polished with lacquered brass fittings. Advertised as having "exceptional value". It featured a double extension square bellows, extending up to 38 inches for copying. The camera had a repeating back fixture, rack adjustment, double swing, strong cloth bellows. Each camera came with two fronts for mounting lenses and two single slides, one of them making a 1/4 to whole plate and the other two half plates. Priced at £5.
