The Pixie Flash camera was marketed by the William R. Whittaker Co. Ltd of Los Angeles, California in circa 1951. The camera was made of black plastic with a built-in view finder. As this camera name implies the main difference from the original Pixie was the addition of the synchronized flash and improved lens. It was fitted with a fixed focus 1 inch doublet lens f6.3, a rotary shutter working at 1/50 of a second and an exposure counter. The camera accepted 16mm cassette magazine film proving 16 exposures, an increase of two from the original pixie. The camera was originally priced at $4.95.
