  Aires Viscount


The Aires Viscount camera was manufactured by the Aires Camera Industries Company of Tokyo, Japan in circa 1959. This camera was similar to the Viscount M2.8 but did not have a coupled exposure meter but did have a viewfinder coupled optical rangefinder. It was fitted with an H-Coral 45mm F1.8 lens. Optional 90mm telephoto or 36mm wide angle adapter lenses were also available. The shutter was a MX leaf-type, providing 10 speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/500 of a second, plus B. Originally priced at $69.95.
