The Aires Viscount M2.8 camera was manufactured by the Aires Camera Industries Company of Tokyo, Japan in circa 1959. This camera was also labeled "Aires Viscount M28". The camera was similar to the Viscount f1.9 but additinally featured a coupled exposure meter. It was fitted with a Q-Coral (4 element) 45mm F2.8 lens. Optional 90mm telephoto or 36mm wide angle adapter lenses were also available. The shutter was a M-X leaf-type, providing 10 speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/500 of a second, plus B. Other featured included M-X flash synchronization, coupled rangefinder, single stroke lever advances 35mm film-cocks shutter- and prevent double exposure. Originally priced at $79.95.
