  Pho-tak Reflex II


The Pho-tak Reflex II camera was manufactured by the Pho-tak Corporation in circa 1954. Described as a better than average camera with unusually fine construction and an exceptional value. This camera took a larger sized negatives than the Reflex I. The camera was constructed of metal with artificial leather covering and satin metal trim. The optical view finder was made of molded shock resistant plastic. The camera took twelve, 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 inch exposures on standard no. 620 color or black and white roll film. It was fitted with a fixed focus meniscus lens and a Pho-tak bulb and snap shot shutter working at 1/50th of a second speed. It also featured double exposure prevention, built-in flash capability and metal folding hood. The optional flash unit had a 4 1/2 inch reflector and built-in tester and bulb ejection. The Pho-tak Reflex II camera outfit was originally priced at $14.95 and for only the camera and flash with batteries, the price was $11.95.
