The Ansco Color Clipper was manufactured by Ansco in circa 1950. Advertised "For the Girls... students, sweethearts, wives and mothers". Packaged in a purse size case the kit included the camera, flash and viewer. The camera took twelve 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 pictures on standard 120 roll film. It was synchronized for flash photography with the aid of a flash gun that plugs into the side of the camera. It was fitted with a two element coated lens. The camera measures 5 1/2 x 9 x 10 1/2 inches. Originally priced at $21.95 for the kit.
