The Ansco Dollar Camera was manufactured by the Ansco company from approximately 1910 to 1928. Designed as an inexpensive box camera capable of taking eight exposures on standard no. 127 roll film. The camera came in three colors, most commonly black, a red and a green. The front is embossed with ANSCO DOLLAR CAMERA, or ANSCO or nothing.
