The Ansco Junior cameras No. 1A, 2C and 3A were manufactured by Ansco beginning from 1916. The three cameras and the V-P junior comprised the line of Junior cameras. Each provided a different size negative. The camera was constructed of a wood body with an aluminum bed and back. They were covered in seal-grain leather and had genuine leather bellows. The No. 1A took exposures 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, the No. 2C took exposures 2 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches and the No. 3A took exposures 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches in size. The cameras were fitted with a single achromatic, rapid rectilinear or Modico Anastigmat f7.5 lens. Pricing ranged from $17.00 to $28.50.
