  Ansco Memo - Boy Scout version

The Ansco Memo Boy Scout camera was manufactured by the Ansco company in circa 1930. The Boy Scout version is the same as the Ansco Memo.

The memo was capable of taking fifty 18 x 23cm exposures on standard 35mm film. Typically fitted with a f6.3 Ilex Cinemat lens and an Ansco the shutter provided speeds of 1/25 to 1/150 of a second, plus bulb. Features included an automatic exposure counter, direct viewfinder mounted on top and a sliding film advance lever on back. The camera measures 2 x 2 1/2 x 4 inches and was originally priced at about $15.00.
