  Ansco Regent


The Ansco Regent camera was made by Agfa in Munich, Germany for Ansco of Binghamton, New York in circa 1953. This camera was identical to the Agfa Solinette II. The Regent took standard 35mm exposures 24 x 36mm in size. It was fitted with a hard-coated f3.5 Agfa Aptar 50mm anastigmat lens mounted in an accurate Prontor-SV shutter providng speeds from 1 to 1/300th of a second, including bulb, synchronized for all flash. focus is 42 inches to infinity. Features include a built-in Newton view finder, double exposure prevention, automatic film counter and depth of field dial. The camera originally sold for $54.50.
