  Ansco B2 Speedex Junior


The Ansco B2 Speedex Junior was manufactured from approximately 1945 to 1948. Advertised as "a good camera for the young or beginning photographer for it's easy to use, light, compact and handy." Fitted with a fixed focus double meniscus lens that focused from eight feet to infinity. The shutter provided "snap speed" working at about 1/30th of a second, in addition to time. The camera took twelve 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch exposures on standard no. 120 (B2) roll film. The camera measures 5 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches when folded and weighs approximately 1 lb. 4 oz.. The Ansco Speedex Junior was originally priced around $22.70.
