  Ansco Titan


The Ansco Titan camera was made by Ansco of Binghamton, New York in circa 1948. A high quality folding camera with color depth-of-focus scale on lens mount. The camera was made entirely of metal with chrome trim and leather covering. It was fitted with an Ansco f4.5 coated and color corrected anastigmat 90mm lens. The shutter provided speeds from 1/2 to 1/400th of a second, including time and bulb, synchronized for flash. It took 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch exposures on standard No. 120 roll film. The camera measures 5 1/2 x 3 5/8 x 1 1/2 inches and weighs about 31 ounces. The camera sold for approximately $69.50.
