The Ansco Vest Pocket No. 0 camera was made by Ansco in circa 1916. The camera was constructed with metal and covered in fine seal-grain leather. It came in two models, a fixed focus model and a focusing model. The fixed focus model was fitted with either a single achromatic or rpaid rectilinear lens with a 3 3/8 inch focal length and an Actus shutter. The focusing model was fitted with a Modico or an Ansco Anastigmat f6.3 lens mounted in an extraspeed Bionic shutter. This camera was capable of capturing exposures 1 5/8 x 2 1/2 inches on Ansco 2C film or standard No. 127 equivalent. The camera measures 1 x 2 1/2 x 5 when closed and weighs 10 1/2 ounces. It was originally priced at $20.00 for the fixed focus camera and $26.50 for the focusing model.
